I knew I'd be a bad blogger. I'm not very good at remembering these things and not the most eloquent writer either.
So, I'm still knitting and I've taught myself to crochet (must add a new widget for that). But things around here have changed quite a bit and so my yarn stash is vastly reduced and life is about to take a new direction.
You see, I quit my job at the end of January. I was turning into psycho-bitch-queen from hell trying to do that job and live up to the expectations of my immediate boss (turns out, no-one in that office likes her because she sets such unrealistic expectations for herself and everyone else - I found this out as I was about to leave!). And I've been unemployed since. And I realised that, mainly due to that awful job, I don't actually like my career of choice (quite a revelation when you are rapidly approaching 40). So I have decided to retrain and become a Teacher :) Next Monday, I go into my local secondary school to start 2 weeks of work experience, then I will apply for Teacher Training from September :) I'm actually really excited about the prospect.
